The Ramer name is famous for our retail Ramer Sponges and associated bathing products, and was the first to develop a plastic sponge in 1946 with the first year’s stock bought in its entirety by the Elizabeth Arden company. More than this, our high-tech manufacturing facility has been tailoring our specialist, hydrophilic PVA sponge for a wide range of technical products and applications globally.

Ramer was established in 1946, and remains a family business operated by the second generation, and employing a workforce that is dedicated to providing a quality product to our customers.

We are committed to creating what we believe is the best sponge material available, and have invested in research and development, and our manufacturing facilities. This enables us to manufacture or licence Ramerfoam® PVA to organisations around the world.
